What are your memories worth to you?  Are they more precious than gold?  Newborn moments are extremely fleeting.  These tiny babies change in the blink of an eye.  That flaky skin on their hands and feet will not be remembered one day.  Those tiny toes will soon be filling shoes bigger than yours.  And those hands will shape the world.  To me, I see photography as a necessity.  Some see it as a luxury.  In actuality, I suppose it falls somewhere in between.  Do you value art work?  Do you enjoy the perfection in details?  Carly and Eddie do.  They came to me to photograph their wedding.  Weddings are not something I normally do but after talking with them and finding out that it was a very simple, very private (yet extremely gorgeous) ceremony, I agreed.  They also knew that they wanted to book a newborn session with me when the time came.

After keeping us waiting for a bit, Levin finally made his entrance into this world on February 8, 2017.  He weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces and measured in at 20.5 inches long.  He had a head full of gorgeous dark hair and the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.  I got to see a lot of them too.  Levin was not at all interested in sleeping.  He just wanted to eat…. every 15-20 minutes.  I had to work quickly during his short naps but I got some rather lovely portraits.  Carly and Eddie loved all of the portraits.  They now have a gorgeous wood print, an amazing canvas, a darling book, and lovely prints to enjoy for many, many years.
